The rise of Nazism in Germany put the nations of the world on a collision course, with devastating results. Adolf Hitler's disregard for the international community made him a hero in the eyes of the German people, but he would betray their trust by leading his country into a global war which would destroy the hopes and dreams of generations of Germans.
